The same shell on a phone

Anything that repaints the screen works as it does on a desktop. A key row puts Esc, Tab, Ctrl, and the arrows under your thumb.

  • Sessions run side by side and stay alive while you are away.
  • Long press to select, copy, or paste.

Status and snippets beside the session

A side panel shows live CPU, memory, and processes, with your snippets one tab away.

  • Run one snippet across a whole group at once.

Our own SSH engine

Traversio is open source and keeps pace with modern OpenSSH, host certificates included.

Keys, handled

Generate or import keys, and keep private keys behind Face ID.

Host keys, checked

The first connection shows the fingerprint. If it ever changes, the connection stops and waits for you.

518 themes

One for light, one for dark, with your choice of font, size, and cursor.

How a session starts

  1. 01

    Pick a machine

From the dashboard, the machine list, a group, a session you had open before, or the Mac Dock menu.

  2. 02

    Connect

SwiftServer uses the credentials saved for that machine and shows you how the connection is coming along.

  3. 03

    Confirm the fingerprint

The first time, you are shown the server’s fingerprint and asked to accept it. After that it passes silently, unless it changes.

  4. 04

A password, a key from your Keychain, or the prompts your server asks for. SwiftServer uses what you set up for that machine.

  5. 05

    The shell starts

Your theme, your font, and a terminal that repaints like the one on your desk. Close it and the session lands in history.
